
Hektagon is a Bass House and Drum and Bass producer with releases on renowned labels such as Bass Machine Records, Fat!, and Z Audio. His music has gained support from influential names like Mary Anne Hobbs (BBC Radio 1) and DJ Food (Ninja Tune).
Hektagon’s debut album, London (Freaks of Nature), earned its place in the UK’s Dubstep and Bass music scene while serving as a heartfelt homage to his adopted city of over 15 years. He has remixed artists such as Baobinga and ID (Fat! Records), High Frequency Bandwidth (Alex Paterson of The Orb), and Piece of Shh… (Svetlana Industries). In turn, his work has been reimagined by artists like Culprate and Elemental.
As a DJ and live performer, Hektagon has played at iconic venues across the UK and Europe, including The Tube (Bristol), Café 1001 (London), and Blue Mountain (Bristol). He has also been part of the international electronic pop project Velour Modular alongside singer Annabelle Guilhem.
Now based in Bristol, Hektagon is becoming an integral part of the city’s music culture. He is a member of the Ramp Up Drum and Bass collective (DJ Suv and Slim MC) and serves as a radio editor for Ramp Up Radio, hosted on Ujima FM.
